On Thursday T-Mobile introduced two of Samsung’s Android phones that will cost around $100 — the Samsung Gravity SMART and the Samsung Exhibit 4G. Both of them are really very nice, though I am sure that we will like the Samsung Gravity Smart Pink more!

The Samsung Exhibit 4G runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The smartphone is based on a 1GHz processor, a 3MP camera and has a support for T-Mobile’s 21 Mbps HSPA+4G network.

As for our lovely pink Samsung Gravity SMART, it runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) and has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display. The pink smartphone also supports a 3MP camera with LED flash and offers a full four-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

According to T-Mobile, both of the smartphones will be available this month, although pricing was not announced.

What concerns to the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 PMPs they are likely the same as Galaxy Player 50 and Galaxy Player YP-GB1.

Among the other features of the device is Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, digital compass, MicroSD card slot, 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, VGA front camera for video calls, accelerometer, FM radio, voice recorder and 2500mAh battery.

The devices Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 PMPs support 8GB/16GB storage options and run Android 2.2 OS9Froyo) and boast 1GHz processor.


Among the other functional features of the device is MicroSD / MicroSDHC card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack. The line of the specs of the device continues FM Radio with RDS, Wi-Fi 02.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 u EDR and GPS.
The 1500 mAh battery provides up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 450 hours of standby mode.

The LG Optimus Me P350 is based on Android 2.2 OS (Froyo) and has been designed for GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100 MHz cellular networks. About the price and date of release there is no information but we know that the device will come in 5 colors: PINK, Black, Silver, Red and Blue.

The new Pink Woori Pad Korean Android is based on 1GHz processor, and sports a microSDHC card which can expand the memory space up to 16GB/32GB. This awesome pink tablet is packed with a USB port and a webcam on the  back.

But the main advantages of this pink gadget is its 9.7-inch screen  which can make a good competition to Apple’s one sporting the same 9.7-inch touchscreen or Google’s Android tablets featuring 7 or 10 inch displays.

Sprint announced that it will start rolling out an update to the Samsung Intercept. The biggest payload of the update will be an update from Éclair- that is Android 2.1 to Froyo- that is Android 2.2.

Acer has announced a new Froyo-powered smartphone called Acer beTouch E140. The device runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
The Acer beTouch E140 boasts 2.8 inch QVGA touch display, 3.2MP camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, stereo radio FM, and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). The device is based on 600Mhz processor. As for the release of the date there is no information but the price should be for about €200.

LG Optimus One supports 600MHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, micro SD card slot. Besides, it runs Android 2.2. The device also features a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen with the resolution of 320×480 pixel, 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and video capabilities, Bluetooth and GPS.
The device also supports nice themes, one of which we can see on the picture, marvelous pink theme.

The Optimus T is one of the first devices with Swype support. This technology represents a rapid method for entering text, designed specifically for devices with touchscreen. Swype allows you to type certain words do not leave your finger on the screen, fingers raised mean the beginning of a new word. In Swype there is error correction mechanism.  The gadget will be available in two colors – black and in beetween burgundy and purple.

Smartphone HTC Gratia will be available in Russia in November 2010. The suggested retail price is 17,990 rubles. In Russia, the model will be available in 3 body colors – black, white and green.
