This young woman dubbed “iPhone Girl” by obsessed media stumbled upon her fifteen minutes of fame when an iPhone owner in Britain posted photos on the MacRumors website. Claiming he discovered her picture accidentally left on the home screen of his new iPhone 3G direct from the FoxConn factory. The woman was pictured dressed in a pink striped factory uniform and pink cap.
A special edition ‘iPhone Girl’ pink Chi-Phone could potentially create an argument among youth in China especially since “iPhone Girl” has become a national icon that is the favorite topic of bloggers and a virtual darling in the Chinese media.
There are reports that indicate that iPhone Pink will launch with new iPhone Girl photos in the camera roll along with two of the original shots responsible for rocketing the FoxComm factory worker to internet stardom. This young woman on the phone has not been identified yet by Chinese media who have become desperate to gain her story first hand.
