On the 14 of June Nokia added a new device to its X series. The new device Nokia X5-01 is available in pink color too. So feminine can harry to gain this device. Besides the color pink Nokia X5-01 is available in the wide range of colors (Blue, Black, purple and as we have mentioned Pink). The device is designed for social networking and messaging. One of the best features of the phone is its Music feature. Crucial thing is spin the mobile to change the tracks and shake the mobile to hear the SMSes in the Inbox!
The device itself has an attractive look. The device measures 74.3 x 66.4 x 16.8 mm and it weighs 129 grams. The display of the device is not so big because of the slider factor. It supports 2.36 inches TFT display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution. By sliding up the device you can see the full QWERTY keyboard.
Nokia X5-01 supports 2G and 3G connectivity. The users of 2G can have an easy access to the quad band GSM 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900, while the users of 3G can access to the tri band HSDPA 900/ 1900/ 2100. For data access Nokia X5-01 supports Class 32 GPRS or EDGE.
As for the camera it cannot be considered to be the best in business but it supports a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. The resolution of the pictures is 2592 x 1944 pixels. The worse thing is that the device has no support for secondary camera.
The device supports MP3, WMA, WAV, and eAAC+ formats for playing your favorite music. The release period of the device in the European market is Q3 of 2010.
