Here is the Pink Nokia N8 again. And now Nokia and Elle are in search of a style correspondent to celebrate the unveiling of the new pink Nokia N8. The candidates will compete this summer, and the 8 winners will get the chance to be present at the New York Fashion Week in September!
Only one of those 8 winners will et the most important price — he/she will take the position of the Nokia’s Style Correspondent, and Elle will write an article about him (or maybe her?) in January.
You can get much information about the competition from Nokia’s Facebook site where you can also create your competition profile as the rest do and comment on each other’s works. I think we can also try our luck, hm, girls?
The competition will last 20 days — from June 1 to June 21. There is only one thing you should do to take part in its first round. Just put a photo that shows your best style on your Profile picture. That’s all. But I guess the search for the next Style Correspondent must begin with the new pink Nokia N8, it is ideal for capturing the stylish moments of your life anytime and anywhere.
As for the second round, which starts from June 24, only 500 contestants will be chosen. And the task for the second round is to write 250 words explaining why they should be the next Nokia Style Correspondent.
During the third round, which starts on July 8, only 50 semifinalists will be chosen, and they will have to create their own style portfolios. You can introduce your work in the form of a blog entry, video or a Flickr album.
The contestants will get a pack of supporting materials, which will include also a Pink Nokia N8, and this will help them create the portfolio.
And those 8 finalists that will go to New York Fashion Week in September will be given some assignments to report about it on their blogs with the help of the Nokia N8.
But this is not all; Nokia and Elle have also organized meetings and interviews with fashion photographers and style icons. The finalists will have the opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes of the NY Fashion Week and ELLE.
